arts and humanities organizations and other groups to rent
for meetings, rehearsals, performances and classes. Some of
these spaces are intended specifically for rentals; others
are available to rent when the primary user or owner does
not need them.

For purposes of this directory, theaters are spaces primarily devoted to
and designed for the performing arts. Auditoriums are multi-use
spaces that might be used for performances or for educational
purposes, conferences or meetings. Other performance spaces
typically are smaller venues with flat floors that can be
